Founded by the late Rufus Ruawhare, currently directed by Dorothy Ruawhare (also instructor). This is a kiwi-owned & family-run business since 1996, which has seen many people skilled and employed in various industries.

Standard Hours of operation

Monday, Wednesday & Friday (9am-3pm*)

Class is held at Double R starting promptly at 9am (we ask students to arrive onsite at 8.45am). *Finishing times are dependent on student numbers and their individual competency.

Tuesday & Thursday (Pre-arranged times only)

Drive-time at Double ‘R’ Industrial Training

Drive-time where you can drive our machines with supervision for more confidence or to complete the required certificate – this is free provided you have completed our theory class within 6 months.

Or

Onsite training is at no additional cost and subject to instructor availability (must have machinery available for practical assessment).

Saturday (Pre-arranged dates only 8.30am-2.30pm)
Class is held at Double R on pre-determined dates starting promptly at 8.30am (we ask students to arrive onsite at 8.15am)
